The Possible Flavours of Wedding Favours
We know that you’re going to fill your guests up to the brim with scrumptious food and supply with them with an endless flow of alcoholic beverages (or non-alcoholic beverages if that’s your thing!). We also know that you’re most likely going to send them a thank you card after you’ve returned from your ah-mazing honeymoon sunning yourself in the Caribbean. But what we’re really asking here is, on the night, what can you give to your guests that will leave them feeling welcomed, appreciated and most importantly, LOVED!
Where did your business idea stem from?
We first started when Belinda was asked by a client to create some ‘ marshmallows similar to the ones I had in St Tropex years ago’ for Christmas gifts and we came up with a rosewater marshmallow recipe. We took on elite and were blown away, we then started producing them for family and friends and it just grew from there.
Why do you think wedding favours are so important?
I love a wedding favour as a small token of thanks to your guests for sharing such a special occasion together, they get a gorgeous little sweet treat to remember the wedding by. We can do custom flavours and hues and also custom swing tags depending on your wedding theme to make it that bit more special.
What makes your marshmallows / s'mores unique to other wedding favour ideas out in the current market?
We like to think they are a gorgeous little single serve treat, something a bit fun that also looks divine and we have yet to see something that is as cool and well packaged! If I was at a wedding and I received it I would be impressed!
What other events could you create special gifts for?
To date we have made beautiful marshmallows for birthdays, corporate functions, vogue shopping night for the beautiful Australian label Seed, weddings and amazing stockist like Electric Eyes in Narrabeen, they fly out the door!
They are so versatile and unique, everyone that receives them are pleasantly surprised, you will not try another marshmallow like them, once you have tried Black Pantry marshmallows you will find it hard to switch back to the store bought variety.
